1972 Volkswagen Super Beetle For Sale

The car is completely fresh and is absolutely stunning.
It truly is one of the nicest Super Beetles I have come across

Extremely staright bodywork and quality paint finish, every corner attended
to, inside and out and even underneath.

Great care was taken to use the best quality parts available and to bring
everything back to showroom specs.

Definitely a show quality vehicle.

The car is located in Michigan by the way...

An excellent example of a first generation Super Beetle.
The first "Supers" from 1971 to 1972 had the flat windshield...
in 1973 they changed to the curved windshield and larger dashboard.
Taillights changed too...

The color is called Texas Yellow and is indeed the correct hue for 72.

Under the hood is well detailed and super clean.

Original body tag.

Very nice work every where you look.

All new window rubber and seals and trim...

Original dashboard vin tag

Wheels were restored to the factory silver color and wrapped with vintage
Firestone tires in the proper 560-15 size.

Awesome...

Under the fenders front and back is super detailed...this was a full body
off restoration.
Beautifully clean underneath.

Duel port 1600cc engine has been fully restored as well and retains all
the factory equipment.

The details continue to all the normally unseen parts.

Another shot of the beautiful engine compartment.
The car runs and drives as new.
It has only been driven test miles...not really run in yet.
Its like a brand new car!

Here's another fender well shot... I would say in many ways this car is
nicer than it was when it lef the factory!

The interior has also been restored to original condition and is beautifully
done.

Super clean in all the nooks and crannies.

Im gonna get picky here with this one though...cracks in the steering wheel...

Seats are very well fitted and trimmed, nice and tight with the proper
pattern material and stitching design.

The buttons at the headrest level...just like factory.

Headliner is freshly done as well.

Rear window defroster is hooked up...

Seat belts are in place.

Very clean indeed.

Original weights and measures sticker in the glove box.

Door panels are excellent.

In closing this is a superbly done restoration.
Far far nicer than the vast majority of early 70's cars that I have seen
out there.
Truly show worthy and quite the nice addition to any collection.
You sure couldnt have one restored to this level for the asking price!
